glitch game (Heroes of Might and Magic 5)

The glitch is that when my comrade and I, after a few hours of passing the card decided to fight their heroes with each other, the battle does not begin and the screen of both says "another player sets up troops" and the battle does not begin. none of us used any cheats, all fashions are the same. Tell me what the problem is and how to beat it.
