Grp-files packer (Precursors)

Downloaded the old build of 2008 Forerunner from here. There's SDK and gfbuild in it. Regarding gfbuild. I've got everything except gf_layout.bin and gf_usage_info.bin. As if it were clear that gf_layout.bin need to substitute instead of a cfg file when creating a main.fat like this:
gfbuild.exe -b main.fat -l gf_layout.bin
And the file itself gf_layout.bin in turn, you can get from the gf_usage_info.bin file with the help of this command:
gfbuild.exe -o gf_layout.bin -u gf_usage_info.bin
But where to get this file gf_usage_info.bin? What to write in it?
Maybe this gfbuild is just unfinished? And these are the protoopses. I was trying to pack this 2008 build with the help of gfbuild from Xenus 1. It's packing and unpacking. This one's not. Doesn't pack in a sense.
Although more modern kind. That's the relevance. It's probably not that measured. Then everything was relevant and everything worked. And then it stopped being and everything stopped working. Modernity has nothing to do with it.
