The Praying Mantis Problem (Cyberpunk 2077)

The mantis blades have a silent kill animation. If we hold down the hit button (strong blow), then the Persian will make a dash and this animation will play. So, when the battle is in full swing, I cannot hit with strong blows, or with a running start, because at this moment this animation takes place for about 2 seconds. and all the surrounding enemies stuff you with bullets, and you just die after the animation ends. Question: does this work for everyone, or can you somehow turn off the animation?
PS. my fingernail came off when these blades were in my hands ...
