As an RPG component, I consider an important criterion to role-play - the plot can be the same. You need to deliver water (conditionally), but how to do this is at your discretion. You may not deliver it at all and will also be an option. It is important that your character is an instrument in this, you act out, since it is variable.
There are three whole roles in cyberpunk - a walking farmer with a cudgel, Vasya from your entrance and a jacket. It affects the beginning of the game and options in the dialogue. I don’t know whether there will be an adjustment in the plot for roleplaying, I haven’t met, but an important point that saddened me. You as a character will be considered a hirer by everyone. No one addresses you for a role after the prologue. are not perceived as a character trait. Johnny Silvinhand, who hates corpses (and I chose corp), talks to V like an ordinary guy in a diner. Our past, and it matters, does not bother him at all. it's generally pointless to talk about others in this context, maybe something will come up in the future, but by the middle of the second act, forget about the corpse, you are a chumba who did not fulfill the order well and that's it. the only thing that gives your role, a die, with additional info.
the second is the linearity of additional tasks. On my 35 H, I met few additional quests - but I understood the essence of such a part as orders. is perceived by most as an extended question mark. here's a sandbox and backstory. final one. I love doing them, but again, this is not an RPG component. There are such nuggets as Sergei's order, where there is a choice, branching, but there are not so many of them.

I will also write separately what would diversify the game of the group. they seem to be there, but not as a musket for your machine gun, but interactions, reputation, a kind of "entry" into the organization. in the witcher 1 and 2 for this there were Blue Stripes, Rose and Scoyataeli. in the 3 part it is more blurry, but Nilfgard and Sever, Keris and Hjalmar. there was sympathy and antipathy - you could support a philosophy that is closer to you as a player.
Another important part of RPGs, it seems to me, is novels. here cyberpunk, as for me, runs into a dead end. the novel is not here as a choice, but as an ending. the player is asked to either choose a novel or refuse. changing the orientation for the game is not a choice, you just get on the rails. what would solve this problem? either adding new characters, or unbinding to gender, let everyone be bi, otherwise the choice of gender in the game becomes a limitation. however, as a plus, the floor plays out well here. when a man - you feel like a man, a girl is a girl. novels complement this

I personally started doing additional quests before the plot ones, I liked them. the quality is just like the main plot. I do not know if they are intertwined with the base, but some events are mentioned. additional quests are with Zhudi, Panama, Claire, a candidate for mayor, for example, I shield, but you did not like the "orders" of fixers, so you are sad.

The blue ones are monotonously boring, but there you have to read all the notes and watch the computers, and then they have a mini plot. Then the most important thing was that there were no major additions yet, and this can greatly pump the game as a massefect 3 for example

According to healthy logic, with this scenario, the game does not need anything at all. And what is - some piece cut out of a full-fledged product, and this is how it is played, like a demo. And in a demo you usually don't get tired of such things. So what's the difference.
