Do they need some kind of implant? Where to put them then?

go to the equipment tab cyber implants and there you already install it, just so that there are cells for modifications in the implants.

Yes, I already understand. There were blue ones, and it was impossible to install in them, so I could not understand what they were for. Only in purple did a cell appear for them.
And if with rotors it is at least clear that the blades somehow strengthen, then with batteries there is not even a hint of what they are.
