Silent graphics card?

I plan to take a GTX 1060 from Palit with "0-dB TECH" technology that turns off the fans when idle.

Apart from a huge plus: absolute silence, are there any downsides to such a solution?

I have one question. Why is fan shutdown technology so attractive? MSI card fans are said to turn on at 60 degrees. When working on the Internet, no fans are heard.

If you have problems, you can readjust the speed of the coolers via MSI Afterburner.
