the case is rather matched to the motherboard. For example, a frequent bummer is a mat board atx e-atx and the case is not intended for it. with video cards, questions only arise if they are 25 cm long and have wider cooling and an increased fee. with cards like 750 you hardly need to look at it.
audio outputs are usually present on the mat board. thus a sound card is optional.
