Windows 10 Anniversary Update
Who has already delivered the Anniversary Update for 10, (not insider preview) have you encountered any problems?Of the changes noticed:
- the "defender" icon appeared in the tray
- the notification curtain icon moved to the far right corner
- new taskbar settings
- changed the structure of the start menu
Interesting, write the results. Otherwise I'm on vacation in the wilderness in the village. I will get to the computer only on Monday.
Everything seems to be super, but for some reason the microsoft Jigsaw game stopped working, I start it, the game window opens, and after two seconds it closes (((What can I do?
Installed, Steam began to look very scary, T-shirts really spoil the work of Steam on Win 10.
My store on Steam does not load, but the games start ... Only the Games Library works ...
After the update, the hard drive was very heavily loaded, well, there program updates were downloaded and installed. In the task manager, I noticed that superfetch was loading the disk, finished the process and everything was fine. I also turned off file indexing. In general, after some time everything calmed down, it was established and now it works very well. By the way, I recommend trying the Edge browser with AdBlock installed, they write that it supports html5 100%, unlike other browsers. I imported bookmarks from Firefox :) the browser is quite nice, it is quite possible that I will switch to it.
For the rest, no more changes for me, perhaps, the lock screen with entering the password has changed a little, I used to like it better, but this is a matter of taste. They say the command line from Linux is now integrated into the system, but why do I need it? : D
And yes, the start menu was also finalized, it will take a little getting used to, but it became more convenient. Disabled all unnecessary (output of popular programs, the latest programs, etc.), now I just have a list of all programs in the startup, without any tiles and unnecessary information there, it looks compact and convenient.
I rolled back to windows 8.1 since windows 10 is still damp, when Microsoft stops indulging in constant updates, I will install it in a clean one, and now I will sit on my native windows 8.1
I installed the update yesterday! Steam, games and everything else is working properly! There are no problems at all, even suspiciously like that: D
I don't know, in theory I still have a preview. But it requires about 23.1 GB of free space on the C: drive for updating (from 10xxx to 13xxx like). I had to clean Windows.old hard.
Not sure, but performance seems to have improved. And so, almost all changes are cosmetic.
People, please, tell me how is it at 10 now with stability? How is FPS in games? Doesn't it sink? And then in February-April there was horror, in all games the FPS fell sharply to 20 (reinstalled several times), all the rules became 7.
There is simply a need to use bash which is in 10.
I downloaded it, wrote the image to a USB flash drive, but everything does not reach the installation.
