Smartphone firmware !!!

Good morning to everyone. I use the Samsung Note 3 smartphone and am completely satisfied with it. But it will not be updated to android 6, and therefore the question is: can it be flashed to android 6 and what are the consequences ???
The smartphone is no longer under warranty.

A request to respond to people who really understand this.

bazilews You
can flash , the consequences depend on the curvature of the user's hands and / or the author of the firmware.
Read the topic of your device on the well-known website about phones and other devices, everything is there and everything is described.

But in general there is a sense of the firmware, if the device works fine ???

No, not LTE.

Well, if it works fine, then why change something.

I am completely satisfied with it ... There is no sense - an extra waste of time and money (if you are not stitching yourself).

Answer this question
yourself xD SonyK.
There is nothing difficult in the firmware to use the services of "specialists" and spend money on it, but this is already a flood xD

I wonder what Android 6 is.

to the store and, under the guise of a buyer, ask the seller to show you a smartphone on the required OS. Ask the most difficult questions about its settings - usually after that they "fall into a coma" and give the device in your hands so that you can watch it yourself.

Hmm, have you been in stores for a long time? Phones, tablets, laptops, etc. have been in the store for a long time in "open" access, take it and poke it, just don't take it from the store xD

Depends on the store - in some the devices are on shelves behind glass and under a lock.

Nevertheless, exhibition samples are now almost everywhere: it is more difficult to find a store where they are not, than vice versa xD
And yes, there is no need to terrorize the consultants, their nerves are not iron, and to find a store employee who will not understand the phone settings now again quite difficult, consultants and salespeople are now educated xD

Yes, but at the first request they open the window and give it to their hands - they also need to steam the phone.

Once upon a time it was also interesting what the 4th android is, and my phone could officially be updated. But in the 4th, the interface began to slow down, and therefore I rolled back and am still sitting on the 2nd version: oh

You know, not everything. Most have only superficial knowledge.

Better to use official firmware.

Well, I speak from my own experience. As a rule, in large stores, all consultants have enough knowledge not to fall into a coma from the customer's questions xD

Almost, but not everywhere. In large stores - often yes, the goods are on "strings", feel good. In small ones, the goods are often closed, or they stand on the shelf behind the seller, especially in the "brands" of different providers.

I didn’t say that they wouldn’t. But it's easier to load it with questions so as not to listen to their chatter, or to swear about consumer rights when they don't want to give you the phone you need right away.

Yes, it seems to me (or rather, I'm 99% sure) that if you ask to hold the device in your hands, the sellers will gladly fulfill the request.

And who has already used android 6 ???
