Died combo PT60-S. An argument for dropsy dreaming.
Subject: the old pump, still from the Big Water series from Thermaltake, has already started knocking (which is not surprising, it has been plowing since 2008) and decided to replace it. Since the old pump went into a combo with a tank, I decided now to take a combo and not steam. Moreover, the tanks of the Tt are still large and I can only shove them into the bottom of the case.No sooner said than done. I chose Tt Pacific PT60-S: a 600ml tank, a pump of the same model that I have, as it has proven itself well.
You can google the price of this unit yourself.
A miracle came ...
It turned out that the device was designed for pipes 1.4 ", which is not my 3.8" - overlooked. Well, don't care! With the help of a burner, and a piece of 1.4 "pipe from the kit, temporary fittings were sealed (which in the end I barely ripped off),
and the new tank with a pump was successfully integrated into the old circuit.
Dura it fell to the bottom of it averted an additional hose 3.8 "with a valve under the cover, so that the pressure does not vomit the tank as the tank itself has fixed legs of the set (feet - shit, by the way)..
In short circuit is assembled, paper planted, I drive dropsy idle and knock bubbles out of the pipes - everything plows, does not flow anywhere, but!
The first jamb - a new pump, somehow, does not work much quieter than an old rattle (despite the fact that the old one is broken, and it is supposed to make some noise. But the new one, from what crossover?) The
second joint - to refuel this barrel, you need to remove the vidyahu and attach it to the water block with a long hose so that you can pull IT out and fill it.
Turnovers are naturally adjusted, monitoring is configured, the computer is running - everything is pushed (no wonder). A week later I removed the napkins - everything was dry. I got used to the pump, although the sediment remained after assembly.
Almost three weeks have passed, nothing foreshadowed trouble, and then SUDDENLY I move the body aside to remove the dust under the table - a green puddle on the floor!
- Ska! - I think - "fit" has flowed. Have to shove the same to buy iron.
Yes, it was not so!
The tank is cracked at the base! In the place where the transparent glass is attached to the pump "supposedly to be able to remove and rinse."
As a matter of urgency: again adjustable wrenches, washing the floor, fixing the old combi.
The miracle worked for as many as 19 days. and this despite the fact that the legs of the flask were not clamped and the valve was removed. So what the fuck ... artist?
I got into the Internet to read. It turns out that I'm not the only one so lucky - the "happy" owners put photos of their burst tanks in the same place.
What to do with it now?
There is glue-cement, I will try to seal the crack with plastic, reinforce it with electrical tape and I will drive it on an idle circuit. Or I'll throw the fuck out (while I was pulling off my "fit", I thought - I will definitely throw it out).
What is the message of the post?
For waterbirds (they mean high-grade water, not unattended corsairs): keep in mind if you decide to take it. The fastening that Tt was screwed up sucks with the pressure and you need to either immediately strengthen it, or somehow play with the valve.
Personally, I will not take the unit of this model for the second time, because it looks more like an engineering jamb than a marriage.
For those who want to stir up kulkhatsk water and bells and whistles for show-off in front of girls in their building: think if you are ready to SUDDENLY grab a rag and wash the floors.
At least I had the opportunity to fix the details and replace the breakdown on the spot. What are you going to do?
Better and safer - good air, and light bulbs and water in flowers - from the evil one.
