Error 6034 occurs when you try to load some .dll without a manifest.
Possible situation: there is a .dll in the game folder, which is loaded first. Then comes the .dll, whose download requires the same .dll, but a different version. Application loading is interrupted due to a version conflict.
Look in the game folder, the "bin" folder, maybe there are some .dlls, whose name begins with msvc .... dll and try to move them from there.

I had such a problem in Half-life 2, there if the C + update does not help, then you need to delete some dll. file, but I don’t remember which one, I would say right now, so I forgot a pancake. Now I have such a problem with Half-life Source, if I find something or remember the solution to this troubles, then I will write a solution for you here.

I almost forgot, the dll that needs to be removed is located in C: Winsows system32

e_49
Try to remove engine.dll from directory C: Winsows system32

What is this nonsense?

S
StoynJames 23.12.20

This is not nonsense

Cvoxalury 23.12.20

You never need to delete anything from 32 systems, you idiot.

S
Shifroval 23.12.20

Well, not that never and nothing, but yes, where does system32, dllki and game error? The error is most likely due to the installation curve.
It is worth trying to check the validity of the gsfki, for a start.
And with ++ runtimes xl2 seem to be unnecessary.

ZY The last C ++ runtime in general is 2010. If something.

You never need to delete anything from 32 systems,
but viruses? :)

S
Shifroval 23.12.20

Viruses do not belong to a part of the axis; in any case, they need to be cut out, wherever they sit.

C
Cvoxalury 23.12.20

The error is most likely due to the installation curve

Or it does not exist at all, it was invented for trolling and fooling people into breeding posts.

and viruses? :)

Nobody removes viruses manually.

783001 - why doesn't anyone remove viruses manually?
Shifroval - it is difficult to imagine a situation in which this paradox occurs.
If the license - check, as Shifroval put it, "the integrity of the game cache".
If not, let's take a look at your .dll list from the bin folder. And is a quitter used?

thanks for answers. I took and cut out the engine.dll file from system32 and the game started. But another problem I
click on the shortcut, the game starts, the video goes through and then there is an "endless" download when I get bored I minimize hl2 and after minimizing the game closes.

S
StoynJames 23.12.20

e_49 As I said, 783001 is a loser.
Only if there is a problem with loading, run hl2.exe from the root directory.

S
StoynJames 23.12.20

If it does not work out with the root directory, then sign off here what happened. And the endless loading before the main menu or before the game?
