Light streaks around the edges of the monitor
HelloTell me about the stripes on the edges of the monitor
Last month there was a problem that causes a little discomfort, namely uniform illumination around the edges. The
monitor will come true 3 years in January and the last month of the warranty itself, is it worth it to contact or is this standard practice for monitors?

you, as I understand it, have light stripes around the perimeter of the screen?
If so, do not waste time and hand it in under warranty!
Quite recently I sold my BenQ EW2730 monitor, which will be 3 years old in March, its warranty has long since been covered (for 2 years of warranty). The monitor was in perfect condition, packed in a box, and sold without inspection by the new owner. I insisted on checking, but the buyer, because was an acquaintance of mine, decided not to bother and did not check it. I bought it and connected it at home only after a few days. And when connected, he saw that a clear light frame had formed around the perimeter of the screen. He will inform me about this. But I didn't have that! The situation turned out to be very ugly .... :(
ps: here is a photo of this ugliness that he sent me

I have been surfing the Internet for a long time, hoping to find an answer, what kind of byaka is this.
I found a single case where the same thing happened in a person. Only he did it even more interestingly - after this indecency got out on the monitor, the same thing appeared on his TV. I am on one of the forums where he described the problem, wrote to him in a personal message, hoping to find out how he solved this question, but I haven’t received an answer yet (this user has not been active there for a month).
Your monitor is reflected or the film is not completely ripped off the frame, maybe the case itself is as shiny in all its glory as mine, for example

Oh damn, thanks for the pictures, likewise no one can really say what it is
I'm going to take
GRiDOX Your

no, that's not it. There is a real light frame around the edge of the screen with rounded inner corners ...
I can assume that it has something to do with the accumulation of static electricity ...

Good luck!
By the way, a big request: then let them know that the service center will say what kind of muck it is. I'm extremely interested ...
PS: and the new owner of my monitor, probably, too ..
I handed it over today under warranty, on the 20th they say they will call, let's see what they say
these days, it seems to me that these stripes have become whiter chtoli

I took a new monitor today to replace the old one, though I regretted it on the matrix as soon as I turned it on and set
it up. monitor or money back, unfortunately mine is no longer available

Thanks for the info.
As for the replacement. You should have either been replaced with the same monitor, or you could have insisted on a refund. Or they had to offer a choice of equivalent monitors. I would rip my butt hair and rage wildly if TN was pushed to me instead of a normal VA.
-Sergey Viktorovich-
I was given a choice, I chose a replacement, I chose the monitor myself, decided to try tn, my monitor is no longer released and is not available anywhere else, the others are not quite the same va matrix that was in mine, and the choice was limited to one store
. 30 minutes I achieved a similar picture, I want to try something new for myself, I'm tired of sitting on one too
