Exit the game on nextgen (Red Dead Redemption 2)

Not far off a new generation of consoles. Anyone have any thoughts in what form the game will be on the next generation? In its current form for backward compatibility? Or free prepatched and tuck the point? Or will sell the remaster?
Personally, I hope for a free patch, and decided to put off re-passing before the release of ps5.
