Counters in the character menu (Cyberpunk 2077)

There are 3 counters at the top of the screen. I know the middle one is responsible for the level of the relationship with Johnny; the first, apparently, is a progress in the plot. What then is the latter responsible for? According to the description, you might think that this is some kind of "countdown" to
SPOILER V's death, but they couldn't have made a timer for the passage. Maybe someone knows for sure?

In my first playthrough, it was 90% by the end of the plot.

ps By the way, I wanted to clarify: to get the secret ending you need at least 70%
(otherwise you never know someone will ask)
