Blacksmiths and armors seem to be the most expensive. And if I'm not mistaken, the higher his skill level, the more expensive he buys any product he can buy, including jewelry. Merchants of all sorts of things take cheap. I usually sell everything to blacksmiths in Novigrad or to the Ophir rune master.
