Patch 1.03 (No Man's Sky)
Let's discuss patch 1.03, Google Tarns rules)SpoilerServers will be destroyed on Sunday and Monday
again ahead of launch.
Caution these notes contain some spoilers. Here are some things our little team has been up to for the past four or five weeks:
â—¾The Three Paths - There are now new, unique "tracks" you can follow throughout the game. You should start the game on a fresh save with the patch, as early picks have a significant impact on what you see later in the game and the overall experience.
â—¾The Universe - we have changed the rules of the algorithm for the formation of the Universe. The planets have moved. The environments have changed biomes. Galaxies changed shape. Everything to create more variety earlier. The galaxies are currently up to 10 times larger.
â—¾Diversity - Creatures are now more diverse in terms of ecology and density on planets.
â—¾Planets - we added dead moons, low atmospheres and extreme dangerous planets. Extreme hazards include blizzards and dust storms.
â—¾Atmosphere - space, night and day skies are now 4x more varied thanks to a new atmospheric system that refracts light more accurately to provide more intense sunsets.
â—¾Planet rotation - play testing made it obvious people are struggling to adapt to this while playing so the effects are further reduced ...
â—¾Terrain generation - caves up to 128M high are now possible. Geometric anomalies have been added. Underwater erosion is now leading to more interesting sea beds.
â—¾Ship Variety - A wider variety of ships appear in the star system, and are available for purchase. Loads and installed technologies now vary more, and ships have more unique attributes.
â—¾Inventory - inventories of ships now store 5 times more resources per slot. Suit stocks now store 2.5 times more in a slot. It encourages exploration and freedom from the start. We will probably grow in this even more in the next update, for people in the later stages of the game, and will expand the trading potential.
◾Trading - trading deeper. Star systems and planets have their own desires and needs, based on the galactic economy. Watching this is the key to successful trading. We're still working on these adjustments based on how each player plays, but all trade values have been rebalanced across the galaxy, giving more depth. A bunch of trading exploits have been discovered and removed
â—¾Feeding - creatures now have their own diet based on planet and climate. Feeding them correctly will give different results for the species, such as prey for you, protecting the player, becoming pets, warning you of rare loot or planting valuable resources.
â—¾Survival - Recharge protection from danger and requires rare resources, making Shielding Shards useful again. Storms can be deadly. Hazard protection and suit upgrades have been added. Fluids are often more dangerous
â—¾Graphical effects - lighting and texture resolution have been improved. The quality of the shadows has doubled. Temporal AA didn't do it in time, but it's so close
â—¾Balancing - several hundred updates were stat changes (mostly exo-suit and ship, but also weapons), new updates were added.
â—¾Combat - Auto aim and weapon aim has been completely rewritten to feel softer overall but sticky when you need it. Sentinels will now alert each other if they have not been dealt with quickly. Quad and Walker AI are now much more challenging, even I fight them without powering up the weapon.
â—¾Space Combat - Advanced techniques have been introduced like brakes for drifting and critical hits. Bounty missions and larger battles are currently taking place. The pirate frequency has been increased as well as the difficulty depending on your cargo.
◾Exploits - an infinite warp cell is exploited and a rare commodity trade is exploited among others removed. People using these cheats were destroying the game for themselves, but people are weird and can't stop themselves ¯ _ (シ) _ / ¯
â—¾Stability - foundations of buildings on super big planets. Resolved a few low REPRO crashes, in particular when the player warped further than 256 light years in a single session (it was only possible due to warping the cells being exploited above).
â—¾Space stations - interiors are now more varied, bars, retail spaces and hydroponics laboratories have been added
â—¾Networking - The ability to scan the star systems of other players found on the galactic map, increasing the likelihood of collisions. Star systems detected by other players appear during flight Galactic Map
â—¾Ship scan - scanning points of interest from the side of your ship is now possible. Buildings generate earlier and show up in ship scans
â—¾Flying over terrain - Pop-in and shadow artifacts have been cut. Generation speed has been doubled (planets with large bodies of water will be sent in the next update)
â—¾Writing - The Atlas Path was rewritten by James Swallow (author of Deus Ex) and myself. I think this speaks to the pervasive theme of player freedom more clearly right now. At the beginning of the text, the mission was rewritten to allow multiple endings.

PS Servers will be destroyed ...
A cool patch, more different fauna, a variety of planets, anomalies, and an increase in the backpack is very good judging by the vidos of the chela who bought for $ 2000. Only at the expense of scanning for other players it is not clear, is it like a single with multiplayer elements in the form of a common map or not?

Maybe they did something that other players could see) We could make at least a teleport from space stations to some large base where players could see each other ...
