Patch 12.9 (Escape from Tarkov) released



I am glad to announce the release of patch 0.12.9.10423 for Escape From Tarkov.

FULL WIPE!

Additions and changes:

Expanded location "Forest".
Reworked starter sets of PMC equipment.
Added choice of heads and voices when creating a character: so far, there are two new heads for each faction. The head and voice cannot be changed after character creation. Only after resetting your account or wipe.
Added skill "Immunity".
Reworked the "Metabolism" skill.
Decreased the volume of character footsteps and vegetation touch sounds.
Added a chance to inflict bleed to ammo. Some cartridges now cause heavy or light bleeding more often than others.
Certain goggles and visors now reduce the duration of the blinding effect from sound and ammo grenades.
Players will receive support emails during the first 7 days of the game.
Added the "All" button to the dialog for buying a lot of a merchant at a flea market. Now you can select all available items with one click.
Filters in the Watched tab are now configurable separately and do not affect other tabs in the flea market.
Pressing “Enter” now confirms actions in most dialog boxes.
The highlighting of slots when dragging items in the inventory can now be turned off.
Equipped armbands are no longer lost on death or removed from killed players.
The letter with the reward for entering cooperation with the wild will now receive a slight delay.
Containers will apply blocking filters to mods installed on a portable item. Those. it is now impossible to put the mount with the installed thermal imaging sight into the protected container.
Added new equipment and clothing: top and bottom of PMCs, body armor, unloading, Smoke balaclava, outerwear for the Wild.
Changed the characteristics of a large number of weapon mods.
Huntsman quests have been simplified.
Some quests have been updated: conditions of fulfillment, start conditions, rewards have changed.
Reduced the recoil reduction bonus from the Recoil Control skill and practical weapon skills.
Now character overload starts at 35 kilograms. Previously started at 40.
Increased purchase limits for some cartridges from merchants.

New weapons and cartridges:

KRISS Vector submachine guns chambered for 9x19 and .45.
SIG MCX assault rifle in .300 Blackout caliber.
UMP submachine gun in .45 caliber.
Marksman rifle Mk-18 mod 1 Mjölnir in .338 LM caliber.
Cartridges in .300 blk, .338 lapua magnum.
Various new weapon mods.

Bots:

Fixed bots hanging behind stationary weapons.
Fixed a bug where Killa could not hear the approach from the back.
Various other bot fixes and optimizations.

Optimizations:

Optimizing animations for interfaces.
Optimization of sounds in RAM.
Server optimization.

Fixed:

Aiming in GL40 with a red dot sight.
The position of the character's body when shooting blindly was not reset after opening the inventory.
Blinding was applied even if the player was using a thermal imaging device.
The stationary machine gun was removed from the mount if the player sat behind it in the blindfire position.
It was possible to use the top and bottom of the opposite faction.
It was impossible to change the nickname if the length of the new nickname was 15 characters.
The sight range value did not change immediately after the alignment, if the weapon had two scopes installed.
A duplicate weapon could hang behind the player's back for several seconds after changing weapons.
On some pants, the equipped pistol was hanging outside the holster during the fitting at the Rag.
The observer did not see the player check the fire mode on his weapon.
Weapon assemblies:
Overwritten assembly was not deleted.
The wrong mods were installed on the weapon if the assembly was performed during the save.
All available goods in the lot were not redeemed if the player tried to buy goods over the limit.
The interaction with the inventory in the raid broke if the player had previously disassembled the weapon through the context menu.
When re-activating the output with a pressurized door at the location to the Reserve Base, the siren stopped working earlier than it should have.
