A quick battle??!!117!?!?? (Mount & Blade)

I like the idea of fast combat, but the maps there for some reason very little. I mean we have in the game there are cards with winter, where some forests etc. And in a quick battle, only one wilderness and still there cheto. So is there any way to increase the number and variety of cards I do not can mod something up or something???
