Cheat codes not working (Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005))

When trying to enter cheat codes (burgerking, regmebaby, etc.) nothing happens. I mean, nothing at all. What is the reason and how to fix it?

check your keyboard layout. by default you need to put ENG. if the default is RUS, then when the game is loaded there will also be RUS, even if you are on a slave before. the table was switched from RUS to ENG.
I have BURGERKING and CASTROL running on v1.3, nothing else.
