Save problem (\ "Failed to save game \") (Anno 1800)
When trying to save, a warning (Error) "Failed to save the game" appears. The path to the game consists only of Latin letters. Running as administrator doesn't help either. Anno 1800 folder does not appear in the Documents folder.Anno 1800 Uplay Reward Unlocker by edwinkyr
Unpack to “C: / Users / your username / Documentsâ€. For some, this unlocker also helped cure the game crash on startup.

The name of the Windows account must be in Latin, and if you have "Vasya, Petya", then there will always be troubles with saving

I managed to fix it this way:
Deleted all saves from the "accounts"
folder Created an empty folder of letters
Launched the game and everything worked
On reddit, they say it's because of the antivirus or brandmauer, so I added .exe to the exceptions just in case . They also wrote that you can run some kind of test there so that the game itself creates a folder in the documents
