Hanging additional task. (Mad Max)

The map shows the place where I have to finish off the wasteland, but when I get there, there is nothing but a marker hanging in the air.

Is there a way to make the task work?

Exactly at the same place I finished off the dude. Only I found it myself by accident, at the beginning of the game.
