I remember that the original had x64 executables and a regular one. But I put it only on an old laptop, I don’t remember anymore. Varhead also played for a long time, so I don’t remember how it was there. "Crysis dx9" as a regular shortcut is created when you install the original, remember that.

Why do you write what you don't know!?
Here is the box with the requirements Windows XP SP2 was required!
SonyK_2
In this case, the OS cannot allocate more than 2 GB of RAM to the
Windows XP process, up to a maximum of 4 GB in RAM! The same Witcher required 2 gb of RAM.

And what is your box with requirements to me? I launched it 2 months ago on Win 10 x64

Stalkers run without problems. I have licenses in GOG. Both also run on x64. But I couldn’t run the first Witcher disk version on Win 7 at all. And Crysis 1 for some time in GOG when launched on Win 10 x64 gave an error
I only checked all 4 versions on the Seven x64. On Ten I play the second game of the series, well, without 4K textures.

They will run without problems - a 64-bit OS works with 32-bit applications in backward compatibility mode.
... I couldn't run the first Witcher of the disk version on Win 7 at all... I didn't have this on Win 7
, but it just so happened that I played the first Witcher after the second one - I took the freebie in the GOG extended edition and passed.

It's hard for me to judge about the 10s - in 2015 I set "see" 3 versions (pre-release, release and one of the first post-release), I haven't played any and haven't used it since.

There were no problems with launching the GOG version. I am writing about the disk version. Now this disk is not available
