For reasons of choosing a video card.

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask. I'm thinking of getting myself new hardware on the i7 6700K and GTX980ti. But now the difference with 1080 Founders is only 14,000 who can tell you whether it is worth overpaying these 14,000 or taking 980ti all the same?

graphics card performance is never superfluous. 1080 is slightly worse in terms of characteristics of 980, but it compensates for this with frequency. she also has more memory.
but buying an early version of edishon is not worth it. mk its price includes a banal overpayment. it does not add any quality or speed.

According to rumors, top versions (1080ti and Titan y) will be released at the beginning of the new year. Here you have to either be patient, or buy already 1080 and score. It should be enough for a full HD for a couple of years.

According to all tests, 1080 is 20-25% faster than 980, so I think whether it is worth overpaying while the dollar rate is loyal.

I would choose 1080, only non-reference, I have it from MSI, a great thing, if you can, then it's better to take what's fresh. founders edition, with turbine, should not be taken. For 1920 x 1080 it is more than enough.

There is nothing to think about, take a gtx 1080. I myself plan to purchase a gtx 1080 from Gigabyte. I really liked the design =) I also need to buy an i7 6700k processor and a curved monitor from LG.

Founders seems to be more expensive by 50-100 dollars than the recommended price for the final card

Thank you all for the advice, I will wait for non-reference cards at a reasonable price)
