The Solus Project keyboard and mouse (The Solus Project)

Hello, as far as I understand this project is tailored for the use of VR (virtual reality) devices, is it worth playing with a regular keyboard and mouse? And in general, will it start without vive, oculus rift,
and other devices for vr?
