Overclocking, static frequency
In short, is it normal that the processor frequency does not drop at all during overclocking? Here I dug into the overclocked and does not reduce. It just bothers me that in this case, the percentage in idle is heated more than usual. In normal then boost mode, it drops the frequencies. The crux of the matter is solely what is in bold.4 Comments

So no one has been overclocking for a long time, now the norm in overclocking is to keep all energy saving)

If we say without overclocking, the processor frequency jumps from 2.7-3.2 GHz and the turbo is 3.6 and with overclocking it is always 4.0. not the norm. and in some cases it may be some kind of malfunction.

When overclocking the processor, some functions are automatically disabled.
In BIOS, find and turn on "c1e support" - this is a decrease in frequencies in idle
