Freezes After Exceeding Allocated Memory (Grand Theft Auto 5)
Good day.In general, I noticed that my game starts to freeze pretty well when the amount of allocated memory (circled in red) exceeds 10 thousand mb.
Until this moment, the load on the processor and video card is stable. 80-100 percent.
The game runs without freezes without lags, at a stable 30 fps (V-sync 50%) I
thought it might be because of the swap file, I tried to turn it off when I turn off the game crashes. I
put fp 1GB, the game crashes. I put 2GB, it starts to jump for 10 thousand the same parameter and all over again
Computer characteristics:
CPU: AMD Athlon II x2 250 3.0 GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 (512 VRAM)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
HDD: 1TB WD BLUE
PSU: 450W , third party manufacturer
Note: The
computer is rather weak
But I have completely optimized the game and the computer for stable FPS. All settings are perfect
The system itself is very clean, there is no unnecessary garbage. The disk is defragmented 2 days ago
There is a meme reduct. The screenshot shows that the RAM is consumed no more than 4 GB

The fact that I do not understand how to get rid of them, and so that the allocated memory does not go beyond these 10 thousand

You have friezes due to lack of memory. You wrote about it yourself. This issue can be solved by expanding memory. That is, shopping
wolitra I
need to buy an SSD:
Winduz will feel better, the game and the swap file, in the end, will not care about the number of MB eaten.
It's just that the game starts to take the missing mb from the swap file, but 8GB is not enough, those 10 thousand + mb - 8 physical and 2 from the FP, swap on the HDD - as a result, the disk stupidly does not cope, since you have to do a lot at the same time.
I have 16 physical ones - I saw it under 12GB of occupied memory, but the game, the system and the FP on the SSD - Therefore, there are no friezes.
