Reincarnation of a good snake

Hello everyone, I'm trying to finalize another mobile game. This time the eye fell on a 2D project like a snake (online only), this game is quite simple to implement, but I would like to know what you think can be improved?

for myself, I have so far decided on only three things:

1) replacing the background, because it is rather boring

2) replacing the animation of death

3) I think to diversify the playground with different obstacles

I would be glad if you give me a couple of ideas, thanks
