Your first game with a nonlinear final?

Currently, games with multiple possible endings it is not fancy and even more of a trend, but it was not always so. Curious, what game was the first among story-centric, which had several different endings? For example the very first in my memory was Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

in NVN 1 like tou have a non-linear final but I'm not sure whether it is complement or the original game. its essence is that the married couple had to decide the fate of the lady aribet in hell here. exact I do not remember

Aribet in hell is an addon, the Underdark. Its last third, the choice there really has little impact on the ending.
If lawtalk with her gone, it kind of stays with the player as a Ghost? It was a long time, too, I can't remember exactly.
