Anti-aliasing in modern games (Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint)

In almost all modern games, including Breakpoint, only TAA is available from anti-aliasing. Why did the developers start using only it? It just vomits the picture. And now I'm playing Breakpoint, before that in NSF Hit and I have to play without anti-aliasing, because I can't look at this soap with TAA
