dude, I played on 8800gts with no brakes (no smoothing), and the gtx 260 - with antialiasing. And that's with an average processor. So optimizing is not a bad game, and your system. Not watching it, you can achieve lag in any game on any system

Try the resolution change to 1024*768. I noticed that the game for example in 640*480 resolution produces almost two(!!!) times less fps than in 1024*768.......
