Game Impression (The Shore)
We share our impressions of the next rape of the universe of Howard Phillips Lovecraft.Another attempt to create a "Lovecraft game". The Shore is a horror movie from the studio Ares Dragonis, in which the main character wakes up on an abandoned island and goes in search of his missing daughter.
The Shore looks like such a budget museum on the work of Lovecraft, where the player finds references to certain works of the master. The whole gameplay boils down to wandering around the island with minimal interactivity, and "survival" in other dimensions with the help of a magical artifact ("bullets" at monsters with an energy stream). Moreover, other dimensions do not cause the feeling of "cosmic horror" planned by the developers, but irritation and a desire to forget them as soon as possible. The game turned out to be completely secondary, absolutely not scary and rather boring.
