Imput lag will of course be more than that of a monitor, like a TV, maybe a little more. But it will be easy to play, and even more so in platformers, I think even if you get used to it, then it will be fine in shooters. I'll tell you this, I have a whistle on the TV for 1 gig of RAM and it works quite well for itself, including even the interface, so there shouldn't be any problems with the shell.
