Help restore installed Steam games

PPC is such a thing, I decided to reinstall the steam and threw the steamapps common folder with the games to another place .. After reinstalling the steam, I threw this folder back along the same path .. I watched the video saying how to specify a new path to the folder, but this requires two disks. I have only one C .. in the boot settings in the incentive, I can not specify another path, it says that on this selected disk there is already a steam folder. Help what to do.
