Psychological barrier
Hello everyone! I don't know if there was such a topic or not ... the bottom line is: I've been playing for a long time, mainly in online shooters. I played at school, at the university, when I got married and when my child appeared, in other words, always. And for all the time the games were purely an addition to free time, i.e. reading, playing sports, spending time with children is not a problem. In general, I caught myself thinking that I almost can't play singles. Played 1000 hours since the release of R6: Siege, then the game became more and more nervous, deleted, downloaded back, deleted, downloaded again, switched to BF1 / 3/4/5, then to CoD MW19 ... In short, any MPFPS, but not a single. The library contains a wide variety of games: Prey, RDR2, Cyberpunk, Bioshock, TaleTales games and much more. I start playing the single, play for 15 minutes and turn it off. I don't know why ... I'm just losing interest. Started and threw Odysseus many times, Valhalla too. I don’t know what’s wrong. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

just singles are not yours and this is completely normal, play online and do not worry
This is the norm, because with age, the craving for games decreases, singles have become a full bottom, which cannot be hooked with anything, and he was used to getting a variety of situations quickly, and not getting to them through hours of cutscenes and shooting bots)
I, too, do not add up to single games. And he used to play, especially pirated games. Even if there was a network in the game, then most often it was not on pirates. But I already have a whole universe in my head. Everything was mixed up with me, games, TV shows, films ... Let the game have a very awesome plot, but when I play, I catch flashbacks from other games or films. I guess the moments, and I get bored. However, there is not really anyone to play online games with. I do not like all sorts of cops, dota and royal battles. Well, from the royal battles, I still played Code Warzon, but my friends either do not play this or cannot start at all. I love games of any genre and am ready to give money for a good game, but not donate. The "free" games I have are mostly so-so. I'm ready to buy a game and even a subscription, but donate so I can’t bend it, it’s not interesting. Even now I play this Walheim in splendid isolation.
So, single games are not yours, well, you are not interested, just take it as it is. This is normal.
Here I have exactly the opposite. I love single-coil games, but I don't have enough for network games for a long time, I understand that this is simply not mine.
And this is the norm. There are more games, there are more bad games, almost all AAA are bad, because they copy each other, and the copy cannot be better than the original. Outposts, towers, battle passes, pay-to-play boosters and other rubbish on a rainbow drakkar quite naturally cause rejection in an adult. And you don't need to force yourself. By the way, a little later you will notice that MMOs are the same monotonous, and the players behave like bots, running along the same routes, sitting behind the same boxes and in the same bushes :) And, if you don’t stop playing at all , you will come to the old singles, before the Lososinov era, because it is cheaper and faster, but the result is the same.

I love singles playing
in a single you can relax by choosing the difficulty to your liking. you can join the universe and follow the plot. you can stop anywhere and take a sip or bite off something tasty without fear of missing the moment. you can save yourself in a convenient place - this eliminates the cost of an error. more time to enjoy grafoni in the end. there is no negativity and bustle of tension as in online pecking. offline things are more for subtle natures)
the psychalagic barrier is when there is some imaginary cognitive wall that cannot be crossed. the transition means that some volitional effort and breakdown of the barrier. there is still a separate post traumatic syndrome running somewhere, for example, it does not really realize that it is necessary to urgently leave the zone of uncomfortableness, or fear and where it is rationally taken from is not entirely clear. so I imagine sibe.
For example, if the kids were humiliated and moved in counter, I turn it on and the map where I was humiliated with a knife and blocked - I turn off the game immediately; I try to run around with bots there, but it's not interesting.
In case of impossibility to play some kind of games, it is necessary to contact psychologists, sorcerers and look for the cause of the disease. most likely if you play session online shooters - those are based on the insidiousness and meanness of live players, which can hardly be obtained in a single as a result, while the mobilization time is 15 minutes in a single, everything is predictable and not interesting and nothing happens to pull the tub and the nervous system is running out of resources. in the games of the millennium, the single is usually not in a hurry, and if a good session lasts from 40 minutes to an hour or so, all the most interesting development of game events takes place at this time, although it is the zone of tension that makes up the same minutes.
if the team jokes, then the obvious answer is that there is no necessary communication with bots.

At first it is just fun, after it is already a stable habit. With age, not everyone is easily given something new. You always have to return to something old and understandable.
Perhaps so, not a psychologist)))
First: thank you all for the answers and different points of view (mocking and not mocking ðŸ˜)
Second: I forgot to clarify that there are single games that I still played (mainly for PS3 / 4 exclusives), but the last 5-7 years in general with a single tight. From what I liked: Last of Us 1, Uncharted 1-4, I can't remember much of the exes, I started the Witcher 6 times and threw 😃
