want to add memory 8-4-8-4
The question is, now there are two 8GB slats, I want to add two 4GB each, will such a scheme work normally? Thanks to everyone who answers in advance.2 Comments

It will be, but if the bars differ in characteristics - at the least "weak" of the established ones. For example, if some bars have a lower clock frequency, most likely the rest will work on it. If possible, it is better to buy 2 8 GB sticks, ideally exactly the same.
