Guide to the hidden graphics settings for a comfortable game. (The Outer Worlds)
Glory to the great dijecu Unreal Engine 4, it is possible to correct minor changes in the working file of the game. However, make them on your own — I urge you to dig into the files and we are not responsible if you get screwed.How to remove mind-numbing post-processing effects:
1. Find the file Engine.ini, it is located in these directories: \Users\arth\AppData\Local\Indiana\ Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini
2. Open the file with a regular Notepad and add at the end here the following lines (your choice optional):
To setup worked, must be specified 1 to deactivate 0. After making all the settings, don't forget to save the file!
[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] — be Sure to work the settings!!
r.PostProcessAAQuality=0 is smoothing, disable, not suggest, but if you have a 4K resolution, you can try.
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 — depth of field, I can't stand her!
r.MotionBlur.Max=0 — motion blur, I don't like
r.MotionBlurQuality=0 — the quality of blur when moving, I disconnected
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0 is another setting blur off
r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0 one of settings chromatic aberration, disconnected
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 is one of the settings aberrations
r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 — the effect of post-processing, can Google what is tonemapping, something like a color filter/regulator, here it is, as I understand it, still adds definition to the picture. See for yourself how you like
r.Tonemapper.Quality=0 quality tonemapping-and
r.LensFlareQuality=0 — as the effect of reflection from the lens, at its sole discretion
r.DefaultFeature.LensFlare=0 — enable/disable reflection effect from the lens
r.DefaultFeature.Bloom=0 — the effect of bloom, the good old setup. I turned off
r.BloomQuality=0 — as bloom turned off
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1 — the effect of clarity/sharpness. At their discretion, I liked it when the effect was enabled. You can put the value 0.5, if you think the image is too sharp
r.SSR.Quality=0 reflection in screen space, turn off if you have performance issues
r.AmbientOcclusionLevels=0 self-shadowing, you can disable this if you have performance issues
r.VolumetricFog.GridSizeZ=64, the resolution of the fog, can improve the performance, without any loss in picture quality.
**If I find another setting, the text will be supplemented.
Good luck and fun game))
To increase the size of interface captions, add:
[/Script/Engine.UserInterfaceSettings]
ApplicationScale=1.185
You can substitute any value, but should not go beyond the values: "1.20-1.25".

For the ability to disable the nasty chromatic aberration - I Express my deep gratitude!
Neron Clavdius
Thank you friend for this setting is huge and the eyes already hurt from this small print!
AmiGOD you, too, for the setting for disabling chromatic crap!

Thank you! take off aberration and magnification of the font.
Guys, either I'm stupid or I can't do something, but I can throw a full text file with already entered settings, and then I enter the parameter and it does not work
without these settings, the game rocked for an hour. now and looks decent, and it is comfortable to play, the eyes/head don't hurt. it is not clear why they made this soap and was not allowed in the game settings to change it yourself.
