Uploaded the player to ovr 89 and lost the opportunity to upgrade further (NBA 2K16)

I thought the problem was that I needed to finish the season first in my career. Not a fig, finished, played the playoffs, started a new season. Upgrades never appear. I play on ps4. Who knows what the trouble is?

Do you train? For every 3 workouts (or 5, I don't remember already) 1 upgrade point is given.

Yes. Without upgrade points, you cannot increase performance.
