Overclocking the T4400 processor from the factory frequency of 1200 to the declared 2200
Good evening everyone !!The situation is this:
There is a 2008 Node with an Intel T4400 processor. According to all descriptions, it should operate at a frequency of 2.2 GHz.
But it ro6it at 1.2 GHz. Even loaded up to 100%, the frequency does not raise, in other matters, as well as c6 does not, i.e. keeps always and stable at 1.2 (+/- a few hertz).
The CPU multiplier in Hades - x6 - does not change either.
There is one more node - there the declared frequency of the processor is the same 2.2 - but it already works on it, the frequency changes dynamically and the CPU multiplier is set to x11.
What can a tra6la be in? There is an idea that here the frequencies are covered by hardware, that 6 did not warm up.

Hmm, does it accelerate in principle? Should the K suffix be on the overclocked ones, or did it go from later versions?
well, it seems that everything will be
accelerated by itself dynamically, it should be a multiplier. at x11 it will be 2.2 GHz,
you need to go to the BIOS and take a look if there are partitions that allow you to change something with the processor so that they are on automatic,
but most likely they will not be there because there is no overclocking for beeches.
option 2. or the monitoring utilities are lying. but I had such that the wax one did not show the correct frequency.
or the pitch is already old and rotten. smart automation does not allow increasing the voltage of the shopping center there the capacitor has leaked out, for example, etc.

and here overclocking? Percent works at 1.2 and should be at 2.2

It is necessary to look in the BIOS. It is likely that the manufacturer saved something somewhere on cooling and locked the hertzovka prots. It makes sense to try to install the latest (other version) bios, if the manufacturer has locked something in the bios, then there will be no lock on the new bios.
