but seriously, it looks like a bug or glitch of the location.

It was also snowing. This is after the moment when Iris gives the rose to Geralt. There, when you are still in the picture, it snows in the last cut-scene. Then the picture, before leaving it, begins, as it were, to gradually "cinder". And when the task was already completed, for a while either snow or ash fell.
