Rather, FXAA (or something like it) works if SSAA is disabled. And with SSAA x0.5, the rendering resolution is halved, hence the pixel soap and higher fps.

I downloaded the comparisons here for Metro Redux and noticed that the graphics were worsened.
Tessellation is on, and all the stones, walls and other textures remain 2D, and in the let-play, it's the same everywhere.
