I don't know much about reds, 970 is a good card for FHD and with a margin of one or two years at this resolution. 1070 is certainly a priority, but here yes, financially, and with a 100% process, it's hard to say. I drew my conclusions based on the tests of your processor and 980 ti, since they are approximately comparable and in some games, greedy to the point, it turned out to be rather weak.
