Discrete graphics card problem
Hello everyone. The problem is on a Sony Vaio laptop (model VGN-z11vrn). NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics card. When you start games from a discrete video card, it heats up to 100+ degrees, in the game itself, the FPS drops every second, after 2-3 minutes in the game, the laptop is cut down from overheating. I played it a year ago, everything was ok, after which I did not use it for about a year. I decided to get it out and clean it - I replaced the thermal paste on the processor, removed the thermal pad under the vidyukha, replaced it with thermal paste. Launched the game - from 60fps in a few seconds it drops to 1-2. I run it on the integrated one - everything is ok, the temperature is around 60 degrees. What could be the problem? I suspect that after replacing the thermal pads with paste, there is a space between the radiator and the vidyukha, because of which heat is not dissipated. Maybe this?0 Comments
