All-terrain vehicle control (No Man's Sky)

Why such a control of the all-terrain vehicle, it can only be controlled when switching to the first-person view, it starts to turn with the left stick only in the first-person view (as set in the control settings), and from the third person it does not turn at all, I play with a gamepad.
