24 gb RAM

Good evening, comrades, please tell me, I get a two-channel 2 with 8 GB of RAM, I want to add another one for 8 with the same manufacturer, frequency and timings
Tell me please, does it make sense to take it so as not to lose the two-channel and performance? I would be very grateful for your opinion.

Better to deliver a set of two. And if you drove them or set them up and want to add volume with overclocking, then you already need 2 * 16GB. T.K. overclocking a large number is much more difficult.
If you just add 8GB, there will be performance issues after over 16GB of consumption.

It makes no sense to take it makes sense to take only 2 memory at once. one by one, it makes no sense to increase and the 2x channel will most likely fly off from this.
