During the whole game, there were no crashes or errors. But with Rigger, some kind of bullshit appeared.
So we go with Triss into his lair. We beat the tentacles. It's okay. Then Rigger himself appears, I go up to him, I want to hit and the game crashes without any error.
Many, many years ago, I played pirate and never encountered any problems.
Maybe someone came across a similar one? How to solve this problem? Please tell me! I would be very grateful for any help.

2. Complete reinstallation of the game.
3. Graphics settings to a minimum.
This is not a procedure, if anything, but a list of possible solutions. And there are mods, the installation and removal of which should not affect the course of the game in any way (textures, sounds, for example), but there are those that can hack scripts and save along with them. We are not, as it were, Delphic oracles to know what mods have been installed.

In theory, it should not affect the save ... As a last resort, you will have to download the save somewhere at the beginning of the Epilogue. Or try loading your earlier save if you have one. The fight with Rigger is essentially a third of the epilogue.

C ++ versions x86 and x64. First, I installed x86, rebooted the computer (installation required), then launched the game - it crashed on the rigger. I installed x64 and started the game (without rebooting the system) and calmly passed Rigger without crashes.
Perhaps the step with installing x86 is superfluous and you just need to update C ++ x64.
