Horse Control (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

Tell me to go well, it's very tightly controlled on a PC. It means it turns extremely reluctantly, often in the wrong direction. I understand that this is not a cowboy simulator, but in RDR2 the control is like in a Mercedes, and here it is worse than driving a rotten trough with an engine and square wheels.
I play on the controller from the box.

Is that how it should be?
