Either a virus, or problems with a repack from the Mechanics. (Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005))

So, I install the English version of NFS MW 2005 Black Edition on my friend's PC. We notice that the menu is jagged, although in the gameplay itself (during races, or just driving around the city) the game does not slow down. And most importantly, we did not notice such lags with the Russian version from SoftClub. MB is the problem of the English version from the Mechanics, or I don't know. Tell me how to solve this problem (if it can be solved at all)?

A virus for game jams? I doubt very much
If only a miner, but then all games will lag.
If in one version it is normal and in the other it is bad, you need to find an English repack from other repackers and try how it will work.
I just don't understand why if the Russian version works?

Sergey Samoilov_2, on Rutrecker there is an original English image of MW + a patch and a conversion to the Black Edition. Who knows what they got in the repack.
