Fps is AWESOME! (Minecraft)

My fps is just awful 0-3 fps! (if you stand and do not move, then the fps becomes 40-30, but as soon as you move immediately 0-3 fps.
SpoilerI have 8 gigs, 64-bit system, 3.40 GHz, NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT video adapter. Help!
