A reference to the Revelation of John the Evangelist (Easter egg?) (Gothic 3)

At the end of the game, I found a very interesting Easter egg:
One of the passages to Reddock is littered with stones, this blockage separates two creatures from each other: the Ancient Beast (or simply the Beast) and the dragon.
I am sure that this was not done by chance - out of four possible options for the location of the Beast, it appeared exactly where the dragon sits through the blockage.
Namely, the Ancient Dragon and the Beast (well, the adjective was dragged) are the central figures of the Revelation of John the Theologian.
