Stopped launching on Steam (Mount Blade)

there was such a nuisance, I periodically return to Warband, before everything started on the laptop without problems, but recently the following happens at startup, press play in steam, the launch is initiated, the game enters the running mode, hangs like this for 5 seconds and returns into the game launch mode. This does not open any windows with settings, etc.
